We don’t have eyes to see, but to observe

Which light is on top of the traffic light? Is it the Red or the green?

We see pretty much everything but can only recount a fraction of it unless we stop and consciously take in what is being seen, we need to intentionally observe.

The definition of observing is to notice or perceive something and register it as significant.

How often do you stop and go, “this is significant, let me register it”? If you are like most, close to never.

With a trained mind in observation your memory and learning abilities improves.

More importantly, you are a step closer to mastering yourself as you continually observe your feelings, inner working, then act, or react, accordingly and with awareness.
